Instrumentation Group of LPEM
Instrumentation is a key topic for science since it allows theoretical models to be experimentally validated and provides evidence of new phenomena when unexpected results are obtained.
Instrumentation Group of LPEM is composed of 8 researchers, 1 engineer, 6 PhD students and 10 master students in average. All the research activity is built around the electromagnetism, from the static (electrostatics, magnetostatics) to optics through microwaves and infrared. The main research topics are:
Instrumentation Group is equipped with a large number of instruments and facilities, studies and develops specific sophisticated instrument and sensors for dedicated applications through various academic or industrial collaborations.
